Oh, No...

I love it when you have kids and school and you have one of those moments LATE at night when you are all snug in your bed, "Oh, no! The girls have a project do tomorrow!" (I hope that I am not the only mom to have this experience.) It was too late for me to do much of anything. I was going to have to go to the store to get supplies. So I dropped the girls off and school, ran over to Target and got about $20.00 worth of "supplies" and headed home. The girls project was an egg-o-naunt. I had no idea how I was going to do this. I bought 2 bottles of Gatorade several bags of marshmallows, packing tape, card stock, a bag of flour and panty-hose. Like I said, I wasn't sure what I was going to make. I laid everything out on my counter and pulled out the glue gun, tin foil, scissors and a knife and got working.

Four hours... I finally pulled something together and was able to drop it off at the school just in time.

The after-math!

Oh no, is this something I have to look forward to? I thought I was done w/ homework and projects...haha and you had to do it all by yourself. So how did it turn out? Did the eggs break when it fell?

That is so awesome Jen, I think you did a great job! You are an excellent mother. I am sure you are not the only mother with school aged children to forget things like that. Great job pulling through. :)

LOL! So did your girls remember their little project?
I can just see you working hard and laughing at your own work. Well, I should ask were you pleased with your own work or just glad to have it over? Did you play it off when you walked it into the office, as if they had forgotten it at home...not that it was fresh out of the crafting phase?
