"Gallions"

Just about every morning Jake will walk in my room at about 6:30am and say, "Mom." I reply, "Yes?" and he says, "Mom, I love you." Then he walks out of my room and goes and plays in his room until I get up at about 7:00am.

Jake tells me that he loves me at least 25 times a day, no exaggeration. He will tell me how beautiful I am at least once or twice a day...I can't tell you how it melts my heart and make me so glad that I am his mom.

About a month ago, I was tucking Jake in and he said, "Mom, I love you gallions!" I smiled and said, "What?" "I love you gallions," he said with a big smile. I asked him if he meant gallons and he said no GALLIONS!

Tonight, Jake loves me "GALLIONS, plus GALLIONS, plus GALLIONS and the mostest!"

...and I love him more than words can express! I can not say how many times Jake has brightened my day with his kind loving words and sweet hugs!

What a sweet heart! Love it when they say I love you with out being provoked.

You have great kids, Jenny, all of them, but Jake is my favorite. Hey, I can have favorites. They're not my kids.

Ahhh sweet! I hear little boys are good at this. Glad I have two of them. Glad to see a post I have been thinking of you.
