I wasn't sure this was going to turn out very well. I got a picture of Blues head off the internet and started cutting away. The first cake hit the trash can shortly after attempting cutting. When all was said and done I was really happy with the way it turned out. Jake sweet face looked up at me with big eyes and told me I was "the best cake maker ever." Made my heart melt!
I seriously took about 10 pictures trying to get a picture with all 4 looking at the camera, smiling. P.S. Jake does normally match when going out in public. This was about 15 minutes after being at the zoo and his third pair of shorts! I was lucky I found them at the bottom of the diaper bag. I was about to make him walk around in one of Eli's diapers with no shorts.
I couldn't this busy bee to be still to get a picture of him. He was darting all over the floor, but as you can see the girls had no problem showing off their dance moves! They are so funny!
Jake was in direr need up some dress up clothes. After 2 years of wearing "rilla" dresses we got this poor child something a little more manly!
I can't believe it! Jake is three! It came up so fast that I almost forgot it. I was talking to a friend on the phone and told her Jake was turning three this month on the 23rd and she said, "Thursday?" I said, "This Thursday?" Oh know!! I called Matthew and said did you know Jake's birthday is in two days?!! So, thanks Erika for helping me not scar my child for life by forgetting his birthday.
Jake was so excited when he saw me making his cake. He looked at my with his sweet adorable face and said, "Is this for me?" He was too cute! We had a fun day! I am just sad he is growing up to fast. Really, where did my time go?!
Jake loves all things tractors/mowers. He prays to mow the yard at least twice a day. His favorite color is blue. Jake calls it "his color." (He doesn't like to share it with anyone) He has the sweetest laugh that anyone has ever heard and has a whine that will kill your ears! Jake is at the girls heals all day long. He thinks they are the best thing in the world. He and Eli LOVE to wrestle and laugh the whole time. It is fun to watch. Jake loves cars and Blue's Clue's. He also likes walks on the beach and having long talks...Lol, just kidding! I feel like I am writing is profile for something.

Dang girl, good job on the cake! I need you to come make J.J. a cake. I am already dreading it next month... Someday I'm going to take a cake decorating class. I just need more patience I think!

Jenny, you are so funny! Jake is so adorable and he gets more so all the time. In answer to your comment on my blog, the puppies are doing great. The one that was sick died. She had an enlarged heart and Eric took her to the Emergency Vet Clinic in M'boro last Sunday morning but there was nothing they could do for her so they had to put her down. I am glad Eric had an x-ray done so we knew what it was that was wrong with her. I always blame myself for anything that goes wrong with the puppies, so it was kind of a relief that this was not something I did, LOL! Thanks for asking about the pups and Jake is a cutie-pie!
