Jake and Eli

Now that the girls are in school it is just me and the boys during the day. It is much quieter around the house and the boys actually take naps that are not interrupted early. Jake has been playing more with Eli when I lay in on the floor. It is fun to watch. He was playing peek a boo this particular day. I look forward to when they are older and can play more with each other. Jake now loves to play polly pockets, dress up and with the girls make up.
I took the boys to the doctor yesterday. Jake had his 2 year check up (a few months late, I know) and Eli wasn't feeling well. Jake's check up went well. As soon as we got there he went up to the nurse and asked, "Can I have a sucker please." He got his sucker said thank you and said he was all done, ready to leave! She started laughing and said, "well I guess we can check off he can talk." It was funny. Jake got one shot (I hate shots!) and he weighted 24 lbs and is 34 inches tall.
Eli had ear infections. I wasn't expecting that. I thought when you nursed they weren't suppose to get ear infections. Well, I guess you can't believe everything you read!

Eli is getting so big! And still just so cute. I nursed Heath and he had several ear infections. It was so frustrating.

That is crazy! Jake started getting then like crazy after I stopped nursing him and the girls well, they only "nursed" for 2 months and bottles and they had them all the time! So, I figured nursing was what saved Jake after reading a magazine.
