"Santa Pants"

Let me preface this story by telling you this…last year on Matthew’s birthday the girls and I went to Khols to pick out a present for him. We searched high and low for what the girls thought would be the perfect gifts. Maddie INSTISTED on getting Matthew this Santa ensemble. (aka men’s lingerie!) She thought it was great and nothing compared to the“Santa pants.” My sister Lindsey and I tried to talk her out of it forever but I couldn't get her to change her mind. Kennedy got Matthew a really nice tie. (Here is the video of him opening his birthday "santa pants".)

Well, last night while Matthew was hanging up his suit Maddie walked in the closet to find him. While they were talking she spotted the “Santa pants” in the closet. She asked Matthew why he always wore Kennedy’s tie but never wore her “Santa pants.” She then wanted to know why every laughed when he opened up the present she got him. She thought they were beautiful. I was blow drying Kennedy’s hair while they were the closet talking. The next thing I know Matthew is marching in the living room in his Santa pants and Santa hat. Maddie following behind, so proud!
